OBITUARY - Pharos-Tribune, Logansport (IN) - Monday, August 4, 1947.
PERU: Mrs. Georgia Thrush, 67, 159 West Main street, wife of Homer A. Thrush, prominent manufacturer and head of the Thrush Manufacturing company, died at 6:30 o'clock Sunday night in Dukes Memorial Hospital following several years' illness.

Surviving besides her husband are one daughter, Mrs. Pauline Thompson, and two grandchildren, of Peru.

Mrs. Thrush was active in club and civic affairs and was a leader in the W.C.T.U.

The body was removed to the Allen Funeral Home.

THRUSH RITES TO BE TODAY
PROMINENT PERU WOMAN DIES SUNDAY
PERU, Aug 4: Final rites will be held Tuesday at 2 o'clock at the First Methodist Church for Mrs. Georgia Semans Thrush, 69, wife of Homer A. Thrush, 159 W. Main street. The Rev. E. Stanley McKee will officiate and burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The body is at the Allen Funeral Home.

Her death occurred Sunday at Dukes Hospital afater a short illness.

Survivors are the husband; a daughter, Mrs. Paul Thompson of here; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Miss Jessie Semans, Wabash and Mrs. E.J. Rendall, Milwaukee, Wisc.

Mrs. Thrush was a member of the First Methodist Church, the O.E.S., the Peru chapter of W.C.T.U., the Women's Literary Club, Peru Art Club, Beta Delphian Society and Drama League.

THRUSH WILL FILED FIDAY
PERU WOMAN'S HUSBAND AND DAUGHTER SHARE IN ESTATE
PERU, Aug. 16 -- The will of Georgia S. Thrush was filed for probate in Miami circuit court Friday afternoon, naming the husband, Homer A. Thrush as executor. The will was executed Nov. 21, 1939 and was witnessed by Florence Hurst and Hurd J. Hurst.

Mrs. Thrush gave to her daughter, Pauline (Thrush) Thompson, fee simple title in her farm lands located in Noble township, Wabash county, which she received by will from her father, Augustine Semans, together with all of her interest in all personal property, equipment and etc.; however, she stipulated that she wished her husbnd, Homer Thrush, to handle use and manage the fram as he sees fit as long as he desires to do so.

She also gave to her daughter all of her jewelry and heirlooms and after the death of her husband, her silverware.

She bequeathed to her husband, Homer, and her daughter all of ther household furniture and personal effects including her library.

She gave to the H.A. Thrush Foundation, Inc. the entire amount of debentures or proceeds thereof and her interest in the H.A. Thrush Company, and all her rights in the Thrush Corporation of Florida, as well as the remainder of her estate.

The total value shown of the estate was $69,935.21.
