Deana Denise Miller, 59 years of age, of Somerset, Kentucky, departed this life on Sunday, November 22nd, 2020, at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center.

Deana was born in Louisville, Kentucky on October 3rd, 1961, daughter of the late Mitchell Theodore Miller and Glenda Ellene Robbins Miller. She grew up in Ferguson, Kentucky and was a Pulaski High School graduate. Deana was a fun-loving and good-natured lady. She enjoyed nature; going hiking, collecting geodes and going on scenic drives. Deana loved cooking for her family and spending time with them.

Deana was survived by one son, Steve (and April) Bates of Ferguson, Kentucky; one sister, Terilla Randall-Risner (and Gary) of White Lily, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Kaytlin Bates, Lance Bates, and Gavin Bates; and a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing.

Deana was preceded in death by her parents, Mitchell Theodore Miller, who departed this life on September 22nd, 1998 and Glenda Ellene Miller, who departed this life on January 22nd, 2018; and one sister, Doretta Lewis.

Funeral services were held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, November 27th, 2020 at the Ferguson Baptist Church in Pulaski County, Kentucky with Bro. Steve Bates officiating.

The family has chosen cremation as final disposition with the Somerset Undertaking Company and Crematory in Pulaski County, Kentucky in charge of the arrangements.

THIS IS A TRIBUTE IN MEMORY OF DEANA,

I'd like the memory of me
to be a happy one.
I'd like to leave an after glow
of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo
whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times
and bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve,
to dry before the sun
of happy memories
that I leave when my life is done.
