Before marrying Mae, Lewis had married Bessie Dunn (1888-1923) on Sept 27, 1911 and had 4 children: Mary Carmilla, Hazel, Charles & James

Lewis Walker 1888-1978

Lewis O. Walker, 90, died Thursday, October 19, in the Havre, Montana Hospital of Cancer.
Memorial services were held at 3 p.m. on Friday, October 20, at the Holland and Bonine Chapel, Havre, Montana with Pastor William Olson officiating. Funeral services were held Monday, October 23, at the Cease Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Garry Breisiker officiating. Burial was in the Bagley City Cemetery.
Lewis was born in Algona, Iowa, April 21, 1888 to parents Charles and Ida Walker and educated there. He worked for several years as a law enforcement officer in Bagley, retiring in 1955 and moving to Havre where he was a night watchman for the Buttreys Store.
His wife, the former Bessie Dunn, died in 1923. On June 2, 1926 he married Mae Ridall in Fairmont, Minnesota.
Surviving are hie wife, Mae; Mrs. Ray (Carmilla) Sharp, Trenton, Missouri; Mrs. Tom (Hazel) Vipond, Algona, Iowa; Charles Walker, Bagley; James Walker, Bagley; Mrs. Herbert (Odonna) Ziegler, Havre, Montana; Mrs. Emil (Oletta) Kampf, Havre; Mrs. Charles (Opal) Boisjolie, Minneapolis; Mrs. Gordon (Delores) Saul, Grygla; Alton Walker, Bagley; a sister, Leota Halpin and 29 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and two brothers and one grandson.
