Leland L. Rendall, age 95, of Waupaca, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016 at ThedaCare Medical Center-Waupaca. He was born July 10, 1920 in Oasis, WI to the late Orrin and Bessie (Frederick) Rendall. On April 3, 1943, he was united in marriage to Ruby Bateman. Leland was a pilot with the U.S. Air Force, serving during WWII and receiving rank of Captain. He owned and operated a farm for most of his life in Almond, WI.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Ruby; three sons: Vernon (Shary), Douglas (Susan) and John (Karen); three daughters: Judy Feist, Rebecca (Scott) Purchatzke and Mary Rendall; 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and a sister, Doris Huhta.

Per his wishes, no services will be held. Burial of ashes will take place at the East Oasis Cemetery, Waushara County, WI. Memorials are appreciated to World Vision International, the Leukemia Foundation, or the Almond Methodist Church.
