Gary D. Miller, age 75, of Ferguson, Kentucky passed from this life on Monday, November 30, 2020 at University of Cincinnati Medical Center, Cincinnati, Ohio. Gary was born on March 11, 1945, in Somerset, Kentucky, to the late Maurice and Maxine Carter Miller. He was united in marriage to Judy Burton on August 2, 1969. He was a devoted and witnessing Christian who was presently attending Victory Christian Fellowship. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. Gary loved his God, his family and his country. He was a Veteran of and served proudly in the United States Army National Guard. He was co-owner of Somerset Scrap Metal in Ferguson, Kentucky. He was an avid motorcycle rider and vintage car enthusiast. He and Judy loved to travel and spend their winters in Florida. But his favorite thing to do was to be with his family and especially with his grandchildren, Sandrina and Nicolas. He is survived by his loving wife Judy of 51 years. His daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Rev. Steve Davis. Two grandchildren, Sandrina Godby and Nicolas Godby. Two siblings, Bill (Rosetta) Miller and Judy (Rev. Bobby) Grant. Brother and Sister-in-law, David and Sue Branscum. Nieces, Amy (Marcus) Poynter and Emily (Vincent) Belanger. Nephews, Randy (Angie) Wheet, Calvin (Susan) Miller, Jr., Ronnie Miller, Brian Miller. Great Nephew and Nieces, Aaron (Whitney) Litton, Ashton (Caleb) Dockery, Christian Poynter, Jocelyn Poynter, Luke Belanger, and Owen Belanger. Great-Great Nieces, Harlyn Litton, Haisley Litton, and Hensley Litton. Gary was proceeded in death by his parents, sister Glenda Thornton, brother Calvin Miller, Father and Mother-in-law Dexter and Evelyn Burton, and niece Billie Jean Marinakis. Due to new Covid -19 Mandates, the family will hold a private funeral service for Mr. Gary Miller on Friday, December 4, 2020.
