Lee Edward "Ed" Ramsey died at his home at the age of 65.

He was service manager for Southern Tire in Somerset, Kentucky. He was former owner of Parkers Mill Auto Repair. He attended Duke Memorial Baptist Church.

He was survived by his wife, Geraldine (Miller) Ramsey (married February 4, 1961); his daughter, Melody Ann (and Chuck) Jones of Somerset, Kentucky; his brother, Ray Ramsey of Tucson, Arizona; his sisters, Faith Bradley of Somerset, Kentucky and Joanne Moir of Elkhart, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Matthew Cook, Brett Jones, Evan Jones, and Ethan Jones.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Odie Ramsey and Nora Hester (Miller) Ramsey; his brother, Willie Ramsey; and his sister, Imajean Weddle.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, April 29, 2004 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Reverend David Morris and Reverend Mark Harrell officiating.
