As a young woman, Elizabeth taught school for awhile. After the Civil War, she married a Civil War veteran, Robert More. They had 5 sons (Andrew, Charles, George, Elwin, and Clarence). The Mores were some of the first families that settled in Pilot Grove township in Faribault County, MN. Elizabeth and her husband were married for over 60 years.
One record has her death as 10/18/1927, but July 7th is the date mentioned in brother Simon Robert's autobiography, and he writes that it occurred in Blue Earth. |
