Wildena Rendall, 85, of Zion, IL, died Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Wildena was born April 28, 1933 in Downsville, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Monroe and Annie Bearden.

Wildena graduated from Downsville High School. Wildena married Claire H. Rendall on May 23, 1953 in Texas. They were married 56 years. They lived in Limestone, Maine, before moving to Illinois in 1954. Wildena worked 14 years at Warwick. She was also employed by OMC. She was a devoted Sunday School teacher at First Baptist Church of Zion. She enjoyed cooking for the Fellowship dinners. Wildena was a passionate baker, gardener, seamstress, and painter.

Two siblings remain, Bobby Ray Bearden of Farmington, LA and Edna Antly of Monroe, LA.

Preceded her in death; husband Claire H. Rendall, eight siblings, grandsons Eric and Russ Rendall. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL 60099 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with a funeral service immediately following at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be Friday, September 28, 2018, 8:30 a.m. at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, 1436 Kenosha Road, Zion, IL 60099
