Alberta Luella Moore was the daughter of George D Moore (1838 - 1915) and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Myers (1838 -1905). Alberta was born on August 23, 1868 at Blue Earth, Faribault County, Minnesota soon after her family moved there from Seneca County, Ohio. Originally, the Moore family had lived in Pennsylvania. They were of German ancestry, and their name was spelled Mohr, and later was changed to Moore. With the More and Moore marriage, this also created some confusion on spelling from time to time over the years. Andrew and Alberta More had three children (George, Elizabeth, and Marian). They were only married 23 years before Andrew's early death at age 45 on September 22, 1912. Both of his parents outlived him by 15 years. He was buried at Riverview Cemetery near Elmore, Faribault County, Minnesota. Alberta died at age 59 on February 26, 1928 and was buried next to her husband at Riverview Cemetery.
