September 2, 1938 - April 27, 2019 Alma Lee Brinson, age 80 of Somerset, Ky., passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Alma was born on September 2, 1938 in Somerset, KY., to the late Herman and Dora Tomlinson Miller. She was a homemaker and loved her Love Devine Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and spending time with her sister Pearl. Alma was united in marriage to her husband, Noel Brinson, on December 30, 1961 in Ruth, KY., and he preceded her on November 1, 2010. Ms. Brinson is survived by her two sons, Noland K. (Sandra) Brinson of Science Hill, KY., and Curtis R. (Diana) Brinson of Somerset, KY; two grandchildren, Kendell (Shelbie) Brinson and Evan H. Brinson; one sister, Pearl Floyd of Somerset, KY; a special niece who was like a sister, Phyllis Chitwood of Ohio; and one sister-in-law, Minnie Keeney of Somerset, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Noel Brinson, her parents, Herman and Dora Miller, and several brothers and sisters. Visitation for Ms. Brinson will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2019 after 6pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home. Her funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 11am at the chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Elmo Mounce and Bro. Gary Clark officiating. Burial will be in the Clay Hill Cemetery. [record req'd 10.24.22]
