John L. Sorenson, age 72, of Ames, died Saturday, January 19, 2019, at Accura Healthcare in Ames.

John Louis Sorenson was born July 26, 1946, in Nevada, Iowa, the son of Louis and Sarah (Levin) Sorenson. He grew up and attended school in Nevada. John was preceded in death by his parents and a half-brother, Bill Farrington. Most recently, John made his home at Accura of Ames.
