Robert A. Anderson died at Merle West Medical Center on Monday, Oct. 23, 2006. He was 84.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, Oct. 27, 2006, at 2 p.m. at Eternal Hills Chapel. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Anderson was born July 29, 1922, in Blue Earth, Minn., to Frank and Samantha (Lewis) Anderson. He grew up there and in Kirkville, Mo.
Robert met Ruby Parks in Kirkville; they were married on March 15, 1942. They later moved to Prineville, Ore., where Robert worked in the sawmill.
They lived there until moving to Klamath Falls in 1959. Robert worked as an edger man for Weyerhaeuser Co. for 27 years. While at Weyco, he served as the union representative for his shift.
Robert enjoyed reading, playing the organ and piano, raising and riding horses. He was a hobbyist who liked to rebuild cars and bicycles and would even make his tools if necessary.
He was a former member of Stewart-Lenox Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son Jamal Loyalson and his wife Luda of Salt Lake City, Utah; daughter Elaine Hrabal and her husband Mike currently serving as missionaries in Morocco; son Denny Anderson and his wife Sharon of Carson City, Nev.; son Dewey Anderson and his companion Debra Kelly of Klamath Falls; grandchildren Lynette and Susie Anderson, Joshua Hrabal and his wife Adriana, Jared Hrabal and his wife Brandy, Daniel Hrabal and his wife Stephanie, Sherri Granato and her husband John, Dennis Anderson, Nathan Bruner and his wife Barbara, Glen Anderson, Angeline Anderson and her husband Gary, Sabrina Cary and her companion Matt Folley, Corey Anderson and his wife Christy, Travis Anderson and his wife Shereese; great-grandchildren Jennifer, Jessica, Joni Granato, Stonus Anderson, Jade Anderson, Darren Wynne, McKenna Wynne, Calin and Kelan Anderson, Sandra Anderson, Mykel Cary, Matthew and Marissa Folley, Balin, Trace, Katelynn, Paige, Keila, Ivy and Patrick.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ruby in 1999; sisters Dorothy and Ellen.
