Gladys Rendall 1912-1966
Gladys May Rendall passed away at the Clearwater Memorial Hospital, Friday evening, after a long illness. She had been a patient at the hospital for the past 15 weeks. Gladys Horner Rendall was born in Ottertail County, Minnesota on May 1, 1912 of parents Samuel and Agnes Horner. The Horner family moved to the Bagley area in 1936. Gladys was married to Dempsey Rendall, July 11, 1939 in Bagley. They lived in Bagley after their marriage except for a short time during World War II when they worked in California. her husband Dempsey passed away October 30, 1959. She was also preceded in death by one brother Sy. She leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Horner of Bagley, also the following brothers and sisters; (Dorothy) Mrs. warren Hendershop of Parkers Prairie, (Lillian) Mrs. Ben Hanson, Bagley, (Stella) Mrs. Burdette Bushman, Pleasant Hills, California, Melvin of Cohasset, Pat of Moorhead, Calvin of Potaico, California, Morgan of Crystal, and Dean of Anoka. There are also many nephews and nieces. Funeral services were held at Faith Lutheran Church on Tuesday, April 26, at 2 p.m. Pastor Richard Larson officiated. Interment was made in the Bagley Cemetery under the direction of the Cease Funeral Home. |
