Mae Walker 1907-1990

Mae Gertrude Walker, 82, passed away at the Havre Montana Hospital on Monday, October 1, 1990. Mrs. Walker was born in Blue Earth , Minnesota on December 30, 1907, to parents Alton and Bertha Rendall. Her marriage to Lewis O. Walker took place in Fairmount, Minnesota on June 26, 1926. The Walkers lived in Sanborn, North Dakota after marriage and moved to Bagley in 1935. In 1953 they moved to Havre, Montana and have made their home there since. Mrs. Walker was a member of the ELCA Lutheran Church. Mr. Walker died October 19, 1978.
She is survived by children, (Odonna Mae) Mrs. Herb Ziegler of Havre, Montana, (Oletta Irene) (Peggy) Mrs. Emil Kampt of Havre. Montana, (Opal Luberta) Mrs. Chuck Boisjolie of Blaine, (Delores Darlene) Mrs. Gordon Saul of Grygla, Anton Hartlow Walker of Bagley, Carmilla Sharp of Trenton, Missouri, Hazel, Mrs. Tom Vipond of Algona, Iowa, Charles Walker of Bagley, James Walker of Bagley; two sisters, Veryl Snively of Bemidji and Rachel Jordon of Florida; twenty eight grandchildren; thirty seven great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1978, one grandson, one great great grandchild, two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services for Mrs. Walker will be held on Saturday, October 6, at 3 p.m. in the Cease Family Funeral Home Chapel in Bagley. Rev. Robert Paulson will officiate and burial will be in the Bagley City Cemetery under the direction of the Cease Funeral Home of Bagley.
